    Event Description:
    Join the Humane Society of Douglas County, Inc. for our 22nd Annual Cause for the Paws 5K Walk/Run!     

    In-Person and Virtual Options are available for this event! Participant Drawing to follow race.

    Funds raised through this event are used to house, feed, and care for the animals brought to the Humane Society of Douglas County each day. Your participation in this event truly makes a difference!
    Location:
    In-Person Location/Route: The Walk/Run will start and finish on the Osaugie Trail in Superior near the entrance to Barker?s Island. 

    Virtual Location/Route: Anywhere you feel comfortable! Walk/Run your 5K and please post a picture on our Facebook Page wearing your event shirt so we can share in the fun!

    In-Person Registration starts at 8 AM, Race starts at 9 AM.

    Fees/Admission:
    Individual: $30 until August 21, then $40.

    Family: (parents and their minor children) $75 until August 21, then $95.

    Registration Fee includes: race t-shirt for each registrant, bandanna for your dog(s), and entry in participation drawing following race.

    *T-Shirt Pick Up Dates & Times will be announced in late August* 

    If you have not registered by August 21st you will most likely not receive your race shirt until the day of the race.
